Overview

There are currently three full-time specialist general surgeons practicing out of North Coast Surgical Suite; Dr Daniel Bills, Dr Sally Butchers, and Dr Robert Simon. Dr Bliegh Mupunga is a respiratory and sleep physician  at the Lismore Base Hospital who consults at NCSS on Wednesdays, Thursdays and alternate Fridays and also offers ambulatory sleep studies out of the rooms. Dr Stephen Strahan, Urologist, has commenced his new practice at NCSS with the ultimate goal of establishing permanent rooms in Ballina.

Several visiting specialists come to NCSS on a regular weekly or fortnightly basis from Sydney and the Gold Coast.  The page tabs above provide more detailed information about each doctor and contact information for those not based at NCSS -click on a doctor's name to find out more about their career and special interests.

Dr Butchers, Dr Bills and Dr Simon also offer 'in rooms' procedures, where appropriate, for minor skin surgery which can be performed under local anaesthetic.
